Top Plant Based Experts are Speaking at A Free Online Food Summit

The 9th Annual Food Revolution Summit takes place online from April 25-May 3. The speakers will share the most up-to-date information about nutrition, diet, health, disease prevention, and more. Dr. Michael Greger, Dr. Michael Klaper, and Dr. Neel Barnard are among some of the experts contributing to this completely free event. It is aimed at anyone with an interest in nutrition & a plant based lifestyle, from those with an interest to medical professionals, anyone can join & learn.

This year's event is set to be the largest yet as the plant based movement grows. The popularity of documentaries such as The Game Changers has brought this lifestyle to a mainstream audience. Recent research in the US suggests that up to 40% of people are now making an effort to eat more plant based. Education is key, particularly navigating the all to common vegan vs plant based nutritional pitfall.

To fight Covid-19, The Priority is Health

According to the event Organisers, "The world is changing fast with disruptions of food, commerce and social connection altering our lives in profound ways. This global pandemic makes one thing abundantly clear: Your health needs to be a priority. Not just someday, but right now.

"Among the major risk factors for infections of all kinds, including coronaviruses, are obesity, heart disease, asthma, type 2 diabetes, and other chronic illnesses. The modern American diet is a recipe for the very conditions that make you vulnerable!

"We don’t want you or the people you love to be victims of a toxic food culture. Especially not now. We want to help keep you safe. During the Food Revolution Summit, you’ll get the most up-to-date research and information about food, nutrition, disease prevention, immune health, and environmental stewardship."
